This 15-hour Back Care Yoga Teacher Training is designed for Yoga Teachers and serious practitioners.
You will be able to:
continue your education in anatomy, therapeutics and yoga for spinal health.
gain in-depth knowledge, skills and confidence when teaching clients with specific conditions in both group class and private class setting.
advocate a pain free lifestyle through posture alignment with balance of strength and mobility in the musculoskeletal system.
Syllabus (New 2023 Version)
Our 15-hour Back Care Yoga Teacher Training will include, but not limited to, the following topics:
Introduction of the therapeutic use of yoga
Guiding principles of Back Care Yoga
Functional Anatomy and biomechanics of the spine
Observation, body analysis and screening for:
Limited joints mobility
Muscles tightness and weakness
A list of adaptive asanas for students with specific conditions (e.g. low back pain, sciatica, scoliosis, knee pain, neck pain, hip pain etc.)
Asana analysis for individual optimal alignments, with and without the use of props
Integration of the subtle awareness of asana practice to optimal daily postural alignment
Integration of yogic healing arts and sciences to properly address student injury and pain in group classes or private classes
Incorporation of Oriental Intelligence - the use of acupressure points for common ailments

Art of Sequencing
Curation of sequence with therapeutic benefits for common ailments related to spinal health
Curation of Back Care Yoga Courses guiding clients/students progression with balance and prevention of chronic pain
Art of Adjustment
Techniques to guide students towards optimal alignment, sense of internal movement, and flow of subtle awareness through the body
Tiffany Lau, is a natural teacher. She has an innate ability to inspire and empower her students, intuitively guiding them on a journey above and beyond the physical aspects of yoga. Tiffany’s gentle nature, combined with a commanding presence, creates a powerful and potent space to transform and grow.
Her journey into yoga started back in Hong Kong in her early teen. After her first teacher training programme, she began teaching and studying with some of the most influential yoga teachers in the world. She is a YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuous Education Provider), and the founder of a Registered Yoga School, Omni Yoga Academy, based in Hong Kong, where she shares the teachings of yoga locally and across Asia.
Yoga Alliance Accredited School
Omni Yoga Academy is a registered school and Continuing Education Provider with Yoga Alliance. Our teacher training programmes are internationally accredited, have exclusive recognition and qualify for Yoga Alliance Registration.
You will be awarded a Certification of Completion upon graduation. Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®s) can receive 15 Hours of Continuing Education Hours with Yoga Alliance.
